Requirements and Usage

Using IR:

• IR control is available for select Samsung, HTC, and LG devices with built-in IR blasters. Receivers can be controlled using IR (Mini-Guide requires networked receivers).

Using WiFi/Network:

• This app utilizes WiFi to control your receivers.
• Automatic discovery of your receivers is supported, with the option to add manual entries as well.
• Your receivers must be networked (wired or wirelessly) and configured for external device access, along with assigning them unique names. Please note that this is not the default setting on the receivers.
• Supported models (HD only): H21, H22, H23, H24, HR20, HR21, HR22, HR23, HR24, HR34/HR44 Genie, and C31/C41 clients.
• Advanced users can control one receiver over 3G and other network connections. Please refer to the Website FAQs for detailed instructions.
